William BlakeBlake was born on November 28th, 1757 in London, England. Blake was susceptible to "fantastic visions." He was well noted for seeing "God and angels in the trees." He was also quoted for having regular conversations with his dead brother, Robert. Blake married his first and only wife Catherine Sophia Boucher on August 18th, 1782. They conceived no children. William Blake supplemented his income with his exceptional artistic abilities. Blake illustrated for many works of literature, including works for the Bible like Job and Revelation. William Blake died in 1827, at the age of 69.
