Lord ByronGorge Gordon Byron was born January 22, 1788 in London, England. Lord Byron was lame in one of his legs. As a young man at the age of ten, Gorge Byron became Lord Byron, inheriting the title from his father. Byron married Annabella Milbanke in 1815; it lasted less than a year. In 1816 they separated. They had one child, Ada. Shortly after the separation Byron fled to Geneva to escape the presses and the constant gossip. While in Geneva Byron befriended fellow authors, the Shelleys'. Byron had another child, Allegra, by another woman. This child died of fever at the age of five. Gorge Noel Gordon died of a fever after a stroke. He died on April 19, 1824 he was 36.
